(Minnesota?) Renters Weigh in on What they Want

What do (Minnesota) Renters Want?

In all of my business consulting, I explain to my clients that "no" the customer is not always right, but it is to our advantage to know what it is that they want. Today I'm sharing an article I found which explains a few percentages about different areas of "want" by renters but it may be off a bit because it did not survey Minnesotans; it is from overseas. But are renters that different? We're all people with similar needs. Here is an excerpt from the article:

A research has revealed that 52% of tenants think the state a rental home is in is extremely important to make a decision to rent whilst another 46% say having a reliable, good landlord is equally as important.
What can we as real estate investors do with this information? Probably a lot. Consider this information when buying a property that you are choosing to use as a rental. You can read the entire article here

Here's a FREE PDF by one company; How to Rent Checklist. My suggestion is to read it, learn from it, adapt it for your use and give it to prospective tenants; leave at colleges etc. with your contact info to get leads etc.
